Popple was one of my favorite bosses in Super Star Saga. It was neat seeing him return to this game. I'm half disapointed that his battle theme didn't play during the battle, though. I know the theme itself didn't really stand out, as it wasn'y really all that great. It was, at the most, ok, but it would've still been cool to have the theme play in the battle.

Ah. Popple first appeared in the 1st game. He was sorta a side villian. He was always after whatever you wanted, and usually had some partner to help him. (Rookie or Birdo) He had absolutely nothing to do with Cacklette and her minion, Fawful, but many believe that he may be related to Fawful to to the similarities in how their name sounds and their constant smile.
