Tripping while going downstairs is possibly the most frightening experience of my life. If you don't grab onto the ledge fast enough you're gonna roll downstairs and look like a basketball.

    Omg, you feel like if you don't you'll basically slide the whole way down and fumble over yourself. That's why I always hold onto the ledge when using the stairs. Ain't no being risky in dis hizzle.

    Yeah, same. Omg I remember one time I didn't hold the ledge because I was in a hurry. I tripped while going down and I SLID down like 3 steps until I grabbed on. It doesn't help that my sandals are slippery. :P After that day I always held onto the ledge.

    I fell down the stairs at a relative's house when I was 5 once. But it wasn't a large fall, it was stairs that go halfway up, have a little bit of floor to U-turn, then a second set of stairs to go up the rest of the way. I fell from halfway up to the first floor trying to go down.

    I remember living in an apartment when I was younger and I tripped while running up the stairs. I think my feet slipped off an step or two and I grabbed hold of the handle so I wouldn't fall. I've learned my lesson.. don't run up/down on the stairs.
