  • yeah happens to me and im one of em its manly due to you cant talk with them mid battle cause you really dont want to wait for 30mins on someone who might not even be able to help you and you have nothing to do while you wait cause you dont want to be on a quest when 5 mins into it the other hunter comes back from his and you dont want to abandon yours [ thats just my input ]

  • Before you enter the room it tells you what quest they're on and around how much time they've been gone, so you shouldn't even enter if you're just going to leave if they're on a quest.

  • A quest with 3 people shouldn't take 30min. More like 10-15 my estimate. I guess im just patient but the no chatting thing while your in a lobby and someone is on a quest is different from 3U. Honestly i don't like the online nearly as much as i did in 3U. I do however find the single player more enjoyable

  • Yeah, the no chatting while on quests is a bummer. You pretty much either have to get everything ready before a quest or have shoutouts ready to go.

  • i like this game and all but when you have just a few flaws it can put a damper on the whole experience and im hr 132 in 3 ultimate but yet to beat solo there cause i wanted to get my op gear first and story second but here in this game everything is so much harder just doing simple egg delivery quests [ curse you konchu thing monster!!!! ]

  • They're not hopping in your room for questing, they're hopping in your room to dine and dash. Hop into your room, eat great meals due to your better food ingredients, then leave. Yeah, it's a thing.

  • Wow i never thought of that myself lol. But it DOES makes sense considering how on this game u can use others ingredients upgrades to better boost urself up lol.

  • that makes sense cause part of the time im the only hunter with the better food levels but that should have to be gone cause in 3 ultimate when you eat you food buffs you can prowdly say i earned that but in this game the saying ''enjoy the fruits of my labor'' has really been emphasised

  • @Justin Hot damn, that's genius. I have to agree with you M14...not really enjoying this the same way I enjoyed 3U, and that's largely because of the no voice chat and no chatting in hunts. It's hard to get sociable with people when you limited by 30 dang characters. And imo that's what made this game fun, having people to just loosen up with while working together to wreck some monster face.

@Angel Yes man. It feels so restricted online. Im kinda peeved that Capcom didn't enable voice chat. I don't understand why voice chat on 3DS is only utilized in pokemon. The mic might as well not be there at all if the're gonna limit its purpose

  • well i just now realized that when you have your cat sidekick with online whatever he says appears in the chat bubble maby that has something to do with the no chat mid quest thing
