    It's stretching it to say America isn't a very free country :/ not the most free (Sweden, Denmark, Holland are definitely more liberal), but come on, you have: -Open racial hate groups. -NAMBLA, I repeat, NAMBLA. -"Sexy" meetings in San Francisco where people... yeah... IN THE OPEN. Just to name a few. Of course, things can vary from each state.
