Hope it's enough.»» So, why does swatting exist? This phenomenon is the reason I took a hiatus from livestreaming. This explanation is simplified, you can Google the real definition for yourself.

Basically, swatting is an internet fad where anybody can call the SWAT team on a livestreamer/person they don't like. What they'll do is call the cops on a false charge big enough to get the SWAT team. (Please realise that I'm not trying to scare anyone.) Very fortunately, nobody has been hurt yet. These cases are very rare, in fact. But, you may know that these calls cost a LOT of money.

Hundreds of thousands of dollars have been wasted on crud charges like this. But, the worst part about swatting is that under 19 percent of swatters have been caught, and charged. That's one of the most terrifying things I've heard. I swear, someone has to get hurt before normal people like us protest swatting, and get it considered a felony. That's scary.
