    Chrom could have married many more characters. If you only exclude the royals, this would only mean -4 characters. And we had 48 other characters in Awakening.

    BUT, you've got to consider how many of them show up before Chapter 12, because Chrom gets married at the end of Chapter 11, which technically throw Miriel, Nowi, Panne, Anna, Tharja and Cordelia, into the mix... that's actually a pretty cool idea, much more freedom and many more possibilities. ^_^
