am i missing something, do you ever go above a 12 point allowance as the player vs computer, ive noticed some battles where the com has upwards of 14 points worth of cards during battles yet we the player have 12..

    The rules are only for human players and the computer controlled teams are not bound by them. I'm not sure how far you are into the game but you will eventually see computer controlled decks with duplicate cards (there are decks were all of the cards are of the same character). Unfair? Yes, but I guess it's one of those wrinkles they had to add to keep the game challenging.

    Before the first update (in January or February?), I saw several instances of players being able to play a 13 point team. I was never able to crack that one, but my guess is that one of the cards was still coded at a different cost than was shown on the face, and the check only occurred when adding cards, not when counting the total cost for the GUItext.
