Impressions

Pretty disappointing game, enemies have about 5 frames of animation, where as the player is fully animated. Gameplay isn't all that great, and feels rather clunky. Not really worth $5, wish there was a demo so I didn't have to waste money on it. Here are my ratings for the game: Gameplay 4/10 Animation 3/10 Looks 6/10 Overall 4.3/10

    Yeah, but the thing is, its not a good game, its an okay game. I've played better flash games on Newgrounds that are the same genre as this game. Like i stated in my original post, the gameplay is slow and clunky, also the game design isn't great either, those rooms with 50 enemies don't work well, if you get surrounded you won't be able to do anything, you'll be getting hit too many times to move

    It would be better as a free game, rather than a $5 game. Look at Witch And Hero, its a $4 game that has good gameplay, the game design is good throughout the whole game, and it has a fair challenge, its worth the $4, unlike Excave which has what I've stated previously.

    im going with lunith i have super mario nes version on there and it looks great still but excave the game eh how you move SO SLOW im probly gonna get the new mystery doungeon one in stead i delited btw

    ohhhhhh. you guys are all wrong about it, it is a really good game better than all of the video's they show you. it's a REALLY HARD GAME! at least when you have to kill a pink rathian on your own. As a rank 8 quest...... sooooooo yeah it gets almost impossible.

    I don't like it, the monsters take too long to kill, and I find it boring, plus the fact that its a grindfest, you'll have to kill the same monster over and over again to get better equipment. I don't really see the appeal of it.

    Yeah, I wish there was a demo or video to view, I expected a decent random dungeon crawler, but its not random and you'd be giving it a LOT of credit to call it decent.

    wait luneth do you download games like the really expensive ones like mario or do you get them physical copy because if you get them physical copy might as well keep it i only buy physical copy on 3ds and wii u so i might just keep it maybe though

    Good job being honest, it's rare to see any reviews on here that aren't just "10/10 best game i evar play" or even have thought put into them. Also, MrGamer, talking about MH4U has it's own area for a reason, and people are allowed their opinions, if someone says they don't like it don't try to change them.
