So the other day I found out you can hire the 3 Meowster Hunters but before I do what kind of Palico are they? Ex. Healing, Fighting ect.

    they don't help you fight monsters with you you send them on quest and if they beat the guest you get different scraps to make armor for your cat buddy there are 3 theres bombs, boomarang, and a healer.

    You definitely can take them on hunts, but you cannot rename them. I believe they are Fighter, Support, Bomber. You can always fire them if you don't want them, and re-hire them at will.
