    Oh yeah. I probably should mention that I am somewhat of a veteran in the MH series. I managed to get to HR 6(?) in MH3U, so I do know a couple things about this and that in this game.

    Oh, good. This game has added in some new mechanics to some weapons like Great Sword and Long Sword.

    @Mateo After having played only 5(ish) hours of this game, I can definitely say that I am 100% hooked on it. It's already proving to be better than the previous one, and it still has the same ol' thrill of the hunt to it!

    I'm currently HR 4 in this game so expect hunts to be fairly quick. Also, just an FYI, don't attack a monster that someone has mounted, that will lead to them falling off.

    Long Sword, you can now do a Spirit Slash out of a fade slash (X+A - R) Great Sword, you can now do a mighty double charge attack, when you do a rear charge that is not the regular one. Sword and Shield, it has a much more tight combo and ends in a form of charge slash. Switch Axe, the sword mode now acts a bit differently where you can do a double slash with it, nothing much else though.

    Ooh! We need to go on some hunts together. Tell me when you get to HR+4. I can't really get further than that alone, so do tell. I also highly reccommend doing the story quests at least up until you get tetsucabra or gore magala armor.
