    Well for starters he's designed to be one of the strongest monsters in the cannon series and second he's kind of an AI controlled entity, but I feel you. He might be too hard to solo without extensive knowlege of his tells. Btw your complaining about his breath and not his bounce?! XD

    The only advice I can give for that is to dodge left or right when he raises his head towards the sky. It does hit hard, my heart always sinks when I get nailed by it.

    Just stay to its right side (on your left) and you'll dodge pretty much everything it does. Rajang leaves room for a LOT of openings and despite its awesome power and speed, its actually one of the easiest monsters to bring down once you've gotten use to dodging its attacks and knowing what positions to be in when it does certain attacks. Also having skills like tremor resistance helps a lot.

    If ur close enough in range when it jumps in the air just roll or run forward to dodge its cannonball flip and every time it turns around if ur close enough in range u can quickly attack it and dodge through its body coming out behind him making it miss with its frontal attacks. An easier way of predicting its lightning beam is to leave ur 2 palico's and hunt it completely alone, it makes-

    -predicting it a lot easier, course u also won't have any backup that way but its just a suggestion xD. Bring shock and pitfall traps, preferably pitfalls as they keep it down for a good while to pound its face in lol. Just know that pitfalls only work when its enraged.
