    Choose the weapon that best fits your fighting style. If you like to go for heavy damage, then choose one of the heavy weapons. I chose the switch axe. If you like to go for range attacks, then choose one of the bow guns, or the bow. There's many different weapons to choose from. It just depends on what your fighting style is. I hope this helps you

    Just pick a weapon that you like. If you want to try another you can always change later. I started with the charge blade and once I hit high rank I switched to the hunting horn.

    use the demo and try out all the weapons until u find one you like. practice with it till u get used to it. hope i helped.

    if you're new, i dont reccomend using insect glaive because it is fairly complicated weapon some simpler ones that are easier for new people are bowgun, great sword, long sword, sword and sheild, dual blades, and mabey hunting horn
