    @Robbie I agree that those are super unlikely, but Nintendo has noticed how well Banjo is doing on their poles. Certain properties (such as BK) have histories with Nintendo and even though they are owned by another competing hardware manufacturer, they still have a (slim) chance. Afterall, money talks

    That would be sick, but the I feel like Sony would be sorely lacking in starpower. Sure, they have some great characters (Sly, Ratchet) but every generation it seems like they abandon their old properties and make new ones which I feel are very hit-or-miss. I mean, look at PSASBR's roster. BigDaddy? Sure, Bioshock was great, but that was such a random character who had 0 Playstation bias

    Pretty much everyone Miiverse is obsessing over. What? I despise the overabundance of "VOTE FOR___!". Also Banjo is now owned by Microsofter (not sure why I wanted to call it that), yet he still is actually being pushed to be in Smash by both the current owners and the people, sooooooo that's a thing about character choices being limited to Nintendo and third parties like Sega. Shega (Shaygah).

    I at one point would've loved for Ridley to be playable. When I saw him as a stage hazard, I just said to myself, "Oh well, maybe next time!" but people just refuse to accept it that he's not playable! I mean, maybe they could pull a Spirit Tracks and switch Ridley for Meta Ridley, but if you ask me, it sounds like to much work.

    Until he proves he's more than a one hit wonder, I don't wanna see Shovel Knight. People might say the same goes for Quote, but that's a different story. Cave Story has been an indie favorite for over ten years and has been on Nintendo consoles continually and (almost) exclusively.
