    Make yourself draw people and reference photos if you are having troubles. The more you challenge yourself, the less likely you will get stuck.

    Well, How i learned how to draw is using references. (No, Not going to some random speedpaint video and Draws everything the same on the video and claiming it was my art) Just use references and stuff. If you want to make your on OCs, then Start with baces and guidelines.

    Okay, I get that. But, there is a huge difference between a traced drawing and a drawing that used a reference. Assuming you are not doing a still-life, when you are referencing, you are training your brain to understand how something is put together. This is an important skill for art, period. This is why most real art courses have you ONLY do still-lifes.

    Also, if you do a lot of pictures from references, along with drawing the same thing without references, it will help you develope your style. Style is one of the best ways to prevent people from claiming art theft, as no one else in theory draws like you. Just make sure that the photos you are referencing are not photoshopped. They do not provide an accurate portrayal of how people work.
