    I heard that the developers had trouble programming the mirror with all the copy abilities, so they made the force field that takes your ability away to solve the problem.

    nice! i figured the reason for the force field had to be something technical like that. couldn't think of any other reason why they would do that. glad they decided to keep in those parts despite that. it's really fun to play them.
