    Khezu has been around much longer then the Gigginox. Originally when i first hunted the Khezu back on the PSP, you couldn't do the "diving" dodge since it has no eyesight at all. Check. IT HAS NO EYES! O_o IT'S FINDING YOU BY SCENT!
