i remember hurricane Katrina! but i was young at the time! it was terrible! 80% of New Orleans was flooded! the death toll was nearly 2000 people! but i think about 88% of the deaths was caused by violence! if hurricane Katrina hit where hurricane Hugo hit all that violence wouldn't happen! oh i think that another 11% of the deaths was people traped in their homes in the lower 9th ward!

    huricane katrina was on my birthday and i was in biloxi at the time... i remember it alright...

    my dad helped replace a majority of the windows of the houses still in tact. If someone was dead or had died in the house, a large X was written on the door.

    i was there just about a couple years ago. they had to import sand, so the beaches and water are brown mucky, and not so pretty as it used to be. In Biloxi.
