Its still awesome to see ppl going crazy over Nintendo Land. Playing the Wii U at launch was and still is an exciting feeling.

  • Indeed. I first played the game on March 1st of this year from the pre-installed software on my Wii U, and I was swept off my feet as to how enjoyable it was. I still haven't gotten it out of my head for a while, and Monita has become one of my favorite Nintendo characters.

  • So true. One thing that would make that feeling complete is Nintendo building an actual theme park. And that feeling in your head still resides in mine. I love it all.

  • Plenty of people I've seen would like Nintendo Land to have a real-world counterpart, but the most likely way that would happen, I think, is if one was built in Japan. I just meant that my head never left the game itself, not necessarily a particular feeling (though I do have fond memories of it).

  • Why Japan¡¿¡¿¡ Florida....because I live here and I want bragging rights.

  • Japan would be the most likely place for that as, not only is it the home country of Nintendo, but there are video game-based popular attractions there, like a Tekken museum in Osaka, so local tourism can certainly be guaranteed. Florida, although a possible candidate for U.S. territory, already has bragging rights of it own having theme parks such as Disney World and Universal Studios.

  • Disney kinda freaks me out. Besides that, I see Japan has opened an Attack on Titan theme park. I would love to be there being eaten alive.....

  • A lot of stuff like that opens in Japan, as I understand it. Getting eaten alive by a Titan would be quite the attraction!
