    Been a while since I played it, don't you talk to him as adult link and pay him 200 rupees. Btw the sword is powerful, but fragile.

    Slender is actually referring to the Giant's Knife, you need to go do the trading sequence in order to unlock it. Go talk to the Cucco Lady (Anju) in Kakariko Village to start it off. If you want the step by step process just ask me.

    The Giant's Knife is breakable and is 200, the Biggoron's Sword is unbreakable that you get by trading. Sorry I should have made that clearer.

    I'll list the characters you bring the items to and locations here: Cucco Lady (K. Village), Talon (In one of middle houses in K. Village), Grog (Lost Woods, turn left when you enter), Granny (K Village, her place is behind the gated area in the corner, Back to Grog cept it's a girl, Mutoh (Gerudo Valley), Biggoron (Mountain top), King Zora, Lake Scientist (Lake Hylia) and finally back to Biggoron
