    As someone who's been doing it since the beginning, Gunning is loads of fun, and you can be really useful with your different shot types. Just remember, your defense is always gonna be super low, so you need to really pay attention to the monster's movements. Good luck with it!

    Thanks! I've been a devout hammer user since the first MH, with other melee thrown in from time to time. Gunning is so different and fun!

    A good tatic you should incorporate is Sleep bombing. Make the monster sleep with sleep ammo, then place 2 L barrel bombs near it. By the head works best.
