    You need to level up the quest. Best stuff are with the hardest monsters at highest levels. Monsters like Rajang, Deviljho, Garuga, and all the elder dragons at level 140.

    I think all you can do is see which equipment comes from the Expedition. If you want to try for the equipment, then get a Guild quest from it. Mine every rare ore you see and pray for equipment. All I can think of.
