The megas later on get really brutal. I would most likely say to get some of the pokemon from the ex stages, such as Moltres or Charizard. Also, Sabelye is a terrible mega. I would go with Slowbro, as his effect allows for a lot of damage to be dished out, if done right. I also think you can get Throh and Sawk, which shoukd help.

I was refering to Pokemon shuffle, as their is only one stat, atk. In Pokemon shuffle, Mega Sablye is terrible
