Why did they make it SOOO easy to get stunned in 4? I'm dying because the cheap AI will ignore the palicos and charge me the second I'm stunned at 30% health.

    You can "play dead" by not pressing anything to delay your get up animation, this small implementation really helps you to not get combo'd.

    ok, two things i've learned first hand. almost hr 130 with silver crown and still scared to do half the stuff on here, but: 1. yes, the monster AI is pathetically OP. 2. the cats are ignored because they won't distract monsters without the protection forte. to make it work, you need 3 protection palicos on your 1st stringer list. the cats you find get better as you rank up on&offline.

    Both my cats are protection forte, but even with max enthusiasm, they don't use the skill. either way, taking a break to play Kid Icarus: Uprising

    I have 2 healer and 2 fighting cats, and the one on the quests is stamina. I often have to wait a good 10-15 seconds for a monster to come over to me when I've laid a trap, because the cats have the monster's focus so much. 1/3 the time is a lot of the time. *shrug* Sometimes you carve the Rathalos, and sometimes, well, he carves you.
