    Well, Michael, I wholeheartedly disagree with that entire sentiment and what it entails. Firstly, love is not only a mutable feeling but an experience. You can't really determine if he is in love or not, particularly based on the premise that most people have an extremely romanticized view of it. There are no real limitations for it, considering it's abstract and subjective.
