    That's been my experience; I've beaten the same three (spinda, cherubi, carvanha) but caught none. Finally! on my 7th or 8th heart, (waiting for them to regenerate) I got cherubi. Generally my team is any three of: mega gengar, lucario, zoroark, moltres.

    Is Cherubi the grass one if so then i've caught him.

    Yes, cherubi is the grass type, but another is cherrim. Cherubi looks like cherries and cherrim is like a flower. I haven't seen cherrim yet, but I did see sharpedo once.
