i got the square jewel but when i got the pyrimid jewel it disappeard. does anybody know what to do.

    Check to make sure they didn't combine in the same icon in the menu? Either way, collect the other jewels and go to Tarm Ruins, north of Spool Swamp, and see if the square jewel works. If not, I honestly don't know what to tell you...
