So the Dalamadur switch axe's final upgrade looks like a step down to me. About 100 in added damage plus 60 blast but you'd lose 3 slots to make it happen. Seems like a poor trade off.

    You mean the semi-final upgrade? Because the last upgrade the Praying Dalamadur gets its 3 slots back and obviously more raw, Sharpness and blast.

    You are right sir. A quick check shows that I was mistaken when I thought it was finished after the next one. So time to farm shah because I don't wanna upgrade until I can finish it off. 3 slots is more useful short term than a modest boost in damage and why I haven't done it yet.

    Problem is that for its final upgrade you need G rank Dalamadur parts, which is a DLC. Either find a host with the Japanese dlc or wait god knows how long for it to avaliable.

    That is not ok in my book. DLC's should have unique rewards bc as it now, I'm stuck waiting on g rank s. rathalos.

    It really is. I work pretty hard to finish what I start so hitting a wall not related to an ability shortcoming on my end just feels wrong. Sure life can be that way, but games are escapism, not a lesson in such things.

    capcom really fu.cked up about a lot of stuff like that in this game. not giving all creatures in grank straight off, no triple beast/double beast advs like in mh3u making parts especially super rares a pain, can't use red box to put in account items on player whim, making trus and divines locked to rare drops in GQ...so much frustration.

    I can't help but thing about what it'd be like in 3U if the event quests had been this way. I was able to beat ivory lagi, styngian zin, and that Brachydios with the right team. But you got special swag for doing so. Certainly not a prerequisite for gear you started in LR and offline!
