    Unrelated question, do you need a Circle Pad Pro to play this on a standard 3DS XL?

    Try the demo, see how it feels. I got through MH3U fine using just the touchscreen d-pad for camera work - put it in the upper-right corner, so you can use that with your right thumb when running, or the physical d-pad when attacking. The New3DS nub is reeeeally nice, though.
