MK8 new DLC: 200cc is pretty lame, got 3 out of 4 first places first time trying it, never used my brakes... Also drives me nuts that 200cc is under Mirror Mode. Should be 50, 100, 150, 200, Mirror imo. The new tracks are killer. Wish they would have added more tracks instead of the lame 200cc.

    I still don't, Chris, I just let off the gas instead. I'm not really into it. If we are playing games for precision speed I want F-Zero not Mario Kart F.

    If you let go of the gas you can't slide, though. There're many tracks where braking is essential for good times in 200cc, like Yoshi Circuit with all of its curves and sharp turns.

    If I cared, I'd try. lol I just don't take the game seriously enough to perfect it. I drift, just don't break. I can beat Mirror Cup so my technique is hardly that of a novice.

    Ohh...wow..uumm I agree with Zat. Mariokart is nothing competitive...If we had a FZero game, this would be the part where i say: One vs one me!!! but no...Mariokart isnt and shouldnt be taken seriously...

    This is the Internet. We take everything serious ;). Yeah, MK is mostly about the fun and shouting at each other etc., but even as kids we always were competitive about it, too. The hours spent perfecting that big shortcut in Double Dash's DK Mountain...

    I only tried the very first track on Mushroom Cup on 200CC, and a lot of seemed to be just timing your drifts earlier. Granted, that only worked out on the first track. Others could be worse. A couple of the tracks on the Crossing Cup didn't really do it for me, but the other two were great. Loving the Bell Cup races so far.
