    You need to first get black/white/black2/white2. After completing one of those games, you'll unlock the minigame to transfer pokemon over from platinum (you'll need two DS systems to play the minigame). After everything is in b/w/b2/w2, you need to download pokemon bank from the eshop and buy a 1-year pass. Then use the included transporter app to move pokemon from b/w/b2/w2 into the bank/XY.

    You'd need a Gen 5 game, 2 DS's (one of them needs to be a 3DS), Pokemon Bank, and Pokemon Transporter. The Gen 5 games, after you beat the main game, allow you to transfer Pokemon from Gen 4 games to them, but that requires two seperate DS's. After you transfer the Pokemon over, you nedd to download Pokemon Bank and Transporter on the 3DS, and just follow those games' instructions.
