    Amiibos are real life figures that you can buy in lots of stores that have in-game functions. Also, I find that the best new character is Mii swordfighter, but Pac-Man, Lucina, Shulk, and Robin are quite good. Villager is good too, but hard to master. There are really only a few characters I would say are bad, so just try them all against a CPU and find out which one you like best!

    My best characters are yoshi, bowser, and little mac, but you can technically be good at any character. Amiibos (I assume that is what you meant) are figurines you can purchase from certain retail stores (best buy, fred meyers, etc.) that you can digitally put into the game and train to fight other opponents, but they aren't necessary to play the game.

    yeah, you have to try to stick to the ground with little mac, he is very vulnerable in the air
