    Yeah, but the SNES also had Mode 7, and the Super FX chip. Also, the SNES was pretty underutilised as a machine. A case in point is that I saw a demo of Road Avenger running on the thing. It was pretty much indistinguishable from its Mega CD counterpart - so, no need for any CD-Rom add-ons for FMV, then. Zoink!

    It's a tie between the SNES and Mega Drive for me. SEGA had frickin Phantasy Star and Sonic, but SNES had Mario, Metroid, Killer Instinct, and Starwing. So SNES by an inch.

    Let's make something clear: SNES was stronger than Genesis in almost everything. I believe the SNES had better graphics and better sound. But I think the Genesis has a better game library. Also, Mortal Kombat on Genesis is far superior than the SNES version. Also, SNES may provide nice orchestral music, but Genesis had Heavy Metal Rock and Roll! Both are good, but the winner for me? Sega Genesis!
