Nintendo steals money from people. People buy things on the EShop. Their accounts get deleted. They can't play the games THEY BOUGHT WITH THEIR MONEY anymore.

  • Yeah i have to delete my alt to link my 3DS to this account which mean i'll lose a few games and funds from that account.

  • How does your account get deleted?

  • Eshop is a joke, itself.

  • (To Tempo) Well, my main account on Miiverse got permabanned, so I figured it would be safe to delete it. (Honestly, I don't remember how I did so.) I thought I could go ahead on my other accounts and play my downloaded games. NOPE. When my old account was still alive (I guess you could say alive) I was able to play games bought from the old account on other accounts. NOPE ...account.

  • I believe you can delete your NNID / account / Miiverse thing by contacting Nintendo, and they do all the work, but you lose all your saved data. I think you can do it yourself by formatting a 3DS' memory, but nobody wants to do that.

  • If Nintendo had told people that their games on the EShop will be deleted if they delete their account, that would be fine. But no, Nintendo has to make bad decisions, as they always do nowadays.

  • I did contact Nintendo, they said i'll have to delete my NNID ( losing some games ) or format my 3DS losing some games but keeping the funds on my Wii U since that account is also linked to my Wii U.

  • However, I did contact Nintendo and I got all my games back, BUT THAT SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN. Yet, I still didn't get my Mario Kart 8 DLC back, Nintendo.

  • NNIDS shouldn't be locked.

    Yeahs1
  • That's what it comes down to. Nintendo made the decision to tie save data, and games to one Nintendo Network ID, which makes it inconvenient.

    Yeahs1
  • Mm-hm, I agree completely.
