Are we now bashing Awakening for some reasoning. I personally thought it was a great game. I loved the characters, the story, the gameplay, the music, all of it. Most people say it's ruined Fire Emblem because of the Casual Mode and Marriage. The marriage was around in an older game. The only reason you hate it is because of wild shippers. (cont in comments)

    As for Casual Mode, the series tried to become broader. Many people liked the gameplay of the older games, but hated perma-death. You don't need to complain because it's OPTIONAL! Heck, after I beat it on Casual, I started a new file with Classic Mode.

    I get it. You love the series. I don't want some of my favorite and nostalgic things to change. We all are afraid of change. But some changes can be fore the better and help it fit in the modern age without losing it's soul. Plus look at it this way, without Awakening we wouldn't have another Fire Emblem. The series was going to be canned like Advanced Wars.
