Metroid-MP3 Corruption: Samus Other M: WAAAAHmus Smash Bros: SPAMus Hopefully they get it right on the next games. Metroid is Nintendo's most unappreciated series and Other M set it back by years. Seriously, get the Prime Trilogy, or at least Super Metroid

    She's a ruthless bounty hunter who's exterminated whole species on her own. She never took orders and in Metroid Fusion (The only reason Other M exists) She willingly defied direct orders and risked her own life to do what she felt was right. THAT is a caring person. But at the same time, she didn't beg for authorization.

    Im fine with Samus expressing feelings. But i'd prefer them to be in line with what the rest of the games lead us to expect. Imagine if they gave Link a voice all of a sudden and it sounds like he's afraid of everything. Other M had good gameplay though (Not Prime good, but good)

    And how did THAT turn out? They don't need a voice or even words at all to develop a good atmosphere. In Super Metroid when Mother Brain was about to finish you off, no words were needed, the bgm and sfx were more than enough to set the mood

    I think Nintendo oughta benefit from a ground-up redux with the best parts of the best games. It'd improve press and pop and bring out something cool. I'm mortified that we have to tell Nintendo how to make their game great, but it's not 'cause I'm not willing to. Nintendo's had DECADES to learn what works, and they should've brought something by now. C'mon Samus! You deserve only the best!

    True. Nintendo needs to understand we want the same basic formula for a game with additions and modifications that make it different.

    I've had the prime trilogy for years, but I never even beat the first one. Does it get better? Because I had no idea where to go at some part and just gave up because it felt a bit boring. I never sold it though and I'm still willing to give it another chance.

    I don't really remember it, but I think you had to go back a few corridors which made it unclear what I was supposed to do. I was still somewhere in the beginning.
