I actually like Metal Mario in MK. People don't seem to know that Metal Mario is actually a seperate person from Mario, and not Mario with a metal cap.

    It's been confirmed by Nintendo. While Mario can enter a metal state, there is also the entirely seperate character Metal Mario. This also goes for Dry Bowser. On the Mario Tennis open website Metal Mario is referred to as "Mario's heavy rival". Also Dry Bowser in Mario and Sonic (one of the Olympic games the one on 3DS) Dry Bowser talks to you and is a completly different character.

    However no word on Pink Gold Peach. I would assume she comes from the same metal kingdom that Metal Mario came from. I also wonder, who exactly is Dry Bowser? If Dry bones are dead koopas, that would mean Dry Bowser could be a dead relative to Bowser, possibly a brother or father.

    but is this source really reliable ? I know these are official nintendo games but they are spinoffs and we never got more information about those characters , as for dry bowser , I remember fighting him in one of the new super mario bros games (maybe 3ds) and he appeared after throwing Bowser into the lava , Madpat must explain this ..

    Even the Mario wiki, while it is only a wiki, it's still very reliable, recognizes Metal Mario as a seperate character as Mario.

    This is really interesting , maybe the metal kingdom will be revealed in future games and we'll get to know more about these mysterious characters if we think about it the super mario universe was always so mysterious and we know very little about it

    The mario universe is really interesting. It must be linked to hyrule because a bunch of Mario enemy's appear in Link's Awakening.

    and in OoT3D there is a window in hyrule castle's backyard that leads to the mushroom kingdom ,Link must have used it to participate in MK8 , not to mention how bowser probably got the idea of capturing fairys in bottles watching link doing so, linking game worlds is so enjoyable , this is one of the main reasons I love smash bros so much
