Let me explain the number of retro tracks in Mario Kart games starting DS. First off, each Mario Kart game has 16 retro tracks. In Mario Kart DS, there were four tracks in each of the previous Mario Kart games. In Mario Kart Wii, there are four tracks from N64, GCN, and DS. Two tracks from SNES and GBA, since they're the only two game to have 20 different tracks. But only used six of the twenty.

    Mario Kart 7 has two tracks from SNES, three tracks from N64, one track from GBA, two tracks from GCN, four tracks from DS and Wii. And now the Mario Kart 8 retro tracks. There are 23 retro tracks in Mario Kart 8 including DLC. There are two from SNES, four from N64, three from GBA, four from GCN, three from DS, three from Wii, and four from 3DS.

    I just realize a problem... If someone joins my room that isn't you, he or she may pick the course that we don't expect to play. So it may be hard to play all 48 courses in the proper order.
