This is not the first time Mario Kart and F-Zero had a crossover. In F-Zero X for the N64, Rainbow Road from Mario Kart 64 is a playable course. If you have the expansion pack inserted, the music changes to an awesome heavy metal version of the classic Rainbow Road music.
