    Hi there :) Would you be able to help me on BC in MK7? I have 1:58.892 atm and my bs are 41.151 38.827 38.565. I mainly need help on the sand hop. I used to be able to do it, but now I'm lucky to make it 1/3 times. I also sometimes land in a drift facing the wrong way after cutting inside the fire even though I concentrate on only holding the correct direction.

    Are there also any methods of doing strats which are faster than other ways of doing the same strat, like hopping or not hopping at the grind. I tend to only hop if I feel I'm about to fall off, but idk which is faster. There is a strat for lap 1 only where you can trick off the ramp before the shroom which saves like 0.05-0.1.

    1. I've forgotten how to do the sand hop too. Try varying when you release the mt and see what happens. My guess is releasing as late as possible. 2. It's because you hopped too late. 3. It is ideal not to hop at the grind, but I found hopping more consistent to get a grind. Check out Mr.L's 1:58.606. His lap 3 grind is the best way to do it (though incredibly rare).

    Thanks :) I'll give the changing the release of the mt before the sand hop a go. BC is the closest to a wr I am on any track and is the only track I can do all of the main strats on so it's my only hope of getting a very good time lol.

    I see you have 72k ATM good luck on 99k man :) (ik you not gonna reply) but I'm here to say GGs back then when 1 day before mk8 releases you raced with Taylor,Eric And Ray parsons, when I had 62k back then but now I have 94k it was very fun racing with you.
