    ... Is it "Maniac Mansion"? That's the only 80's PC game I can think of with a tentacle-looking character, and I've only played a bit of the sequel.

    Thanks, Bad Mr. Sushi! I didn't realize the game was also on NES and other consoles, LOL, but I sure do remember the Green and Purple Tentacles from "Day of the Tentacle"!
