  Your team, while perhaps not doing anywhere near the damage you'll do, can still be valuable as human shields, absorbing attacks so the enemy doesn't pierce your Ghostwalker too quickly. To that end, keeping Ghost Factory on your set up as well can be very helpful, as is bringing along Elma so she can supply Ghost Factory to the team as well.

  Also, for pure damage, while Galaxy Chief has a higher base attack power, Receeding Rust is Ether-based, and thus gets the 150% damage boost from Core Crusher. You won't be able to break enemy body parts, but you'll do objectively more damage as long as you're able to target an intact body part with your attacks.
