Me: I think Nintendo will do a great job choosing newcomers for Smash 5 Someone else : ACTUALLY SAKURAI CONFIRMED that smash 3ds is Smash 4 and smash 5 is smash wii u ! Three things. 1. Regardless of what people say Smash 3DS and Wii U are essentially same it's called a "port". 2.the comment is usually completely irrelevant and doesn't relate to the original statement.

    and 3. it's a stupid statement people dont just call the next game smash 6. they refer to the next game as Smash 5. this statement adds nothing to conversations!

    People say Sakurai was the one who referred to Smash Wii U as 5, I can't say if it's truth because I never saw or hear him say that thing, for me, Smash 3DS/Wii U is Sm4sh
