    {Daily Doodle #54} So I wasn't gonna do a drawing today cuz I was pretty busy, but after watching the Nintendo Direct I had to do something. Overall it was sadly a disappointing Direct for me, which I won't explain here...maybe I'll do my first rant post tomorrow. But one thing that was an incredible let dow for me was just the small look at Paper Mario WiiU.

    The first scene has Mario, Peach, and a friggen TOAD enter! Not Toadsworth, or Luigi, or a new character, not even a special colored Toad! Just a plain red one! That Toad to me is just a huge hint that this game is NOT going to be like tTYD with it's original characters and whatnot, but more like another Sticker Star, you know the one people DON'T like!     seems to suffer from the same Toaditus. Couldn't we get some new characters that really make Mario RPGs lovable like usual. I mean the game will hopefully be good, and maybe Toad was just a place holder, but for now I kinda upset with the game's reveal.

    Yeah, I guess it just wasn't as good as I was hoping, and some of the games could have been talked about more to maybe make them look better. The direct still had good features, it's just easy to be upset about the not as good features.

    uuuhhh...I'm really bad at listing a single thing as my favorite. The new Kirby game looks really cool, although it would be nice if it had a co-op mode for the main story. New items for the next update in Mario Maker is exciting, same with Splatoon. And I'm happy that the new Rhythm Heaven game is actually getting a global release.

    I guess those are the new announcements I was most excited for. I'm glad to see some more info on some of the other games that have been talked about on previous Directs, although it would be nice to get more info on Zelda WiiU.
