People tell me to "give Color Splash a chance" and that "it'll be better". I hate that excuse. I've been given this SO MANY TIMES. That's what I did with Sticker Star and it was garbage. Thanks Miyamoto for removing anything interesting that Paper Mario originally had. Just because it's pretty doesn't mean it's good. Paper Mario NEEDED story to be good. The other Paper Marios had great casts.

    Some people act like Sticker Star was a great game. Pfft. The battle system was garbage, you only earned coins from fighting enemies, which made fighting them a waste of time, there was no heart and story, Toads galore, and boring areas. The fact that anyone could insist Sticker Star is good is an insult.

    They explained the core gameplay. It's the exact same as Sticker Star, but now you need to drag the cards. Trust me, the gameplay is pretty much the same. The coloring thing is cool, but everything else bugs me. And in an Iwata Asks, they pretty much said "I want Sticker Star to be the staple for future Paper Mario titles." It's over. If they had any PM-esque gameplay, they'd show it before.

    Maybe the vocal outcry might ( keyword might ) make them change some things during production, if not for a later game in the series. But i have low expectations on that happening.
