Why do people hate bayonetta and corrin in smash?

For some reason, everyone I know irl are saying that sm4sh is "RUINED FOREVER!" because of their additions. I personally think that bayo's addition is pretty cool, and I don't mind corrin. so what's with the mindless hate?

    Pickle, you gotta stay in the pickle if your salty. I didn't like when Bayo was revealed, but I learned that she won the ballot, and that a lot of people voted for her (not me tho). So really, Sakurai didn't choose Bayo, the fans did.

    Corrin isnt hated nearly as much as Bayo. The only issue with him are FSmash range (which is easy to get around thus not a huge deal), and counter strength. As a Corrin player, I agree that his counter is a bit strong, but its not a huge differential over others. Bayonetta on the other hand feels like she was put together in 5 days, and built to be the absolute strongest character in the game.

    This is shown with her unprecedented smash strength, 100% integrated mix of close and long range (its like Fox 5.0), her possession of the strongest counter to date, with an added addition of combos that not only ensnare, but are inescapable to around a 5% margin of error. Pair this with 2+ low % spiking moves (one of which can be used a good distance away from the edge),

    as well as movement speed and the overall strength of her near perfect combos, you get a character that has no statistic place in the game. Those who say that "people who complain about her just dont know how to fight her. go practice or shut up" or "theyre just butt hurt that they didnt get the character they wanted" are people who dont understand her stats. Its not just pointless complaining,

    @Edward No...I'm pretty sure what he meant by "most realizable" was that characters like K. Tool, Inkling, and Shovel Knight were "realizable." Bayonetta was just the character that worked the best (apparently..) and is therefore the "most realizable." Meeting the criteria would just be "eligible."

    @Killager There's not really 9 Mario chars... Dr. Mario (even if he has the Mushroom Kingdom symbol and theme), Yoshi, DK and Diddy Kong have their OWN GAMES, hence the different victory themes and symbols.
