(Starting.) Rain fell from the sky, smacking against the roads below the buildings. The stars twinkled in the night, and the moon illuminated the streets. There was a quiet noise, a rope being fired, and sticking into a wall. Then there was a tug to make sure it was secure.

In a distant region of the city, Link walked on top of a local business building, looking, waiting for trouble of any kind to stir up. A call for help, a cry or shriek of terror, the sound of a gunshot. Any alert.

It was Rev's night to patrol aka Night Slasher. Nothing strange was going on yet but he wouldn't suspect it. He was riding his motorcycle on the city streets. His short cape flying and his katana on his right leg.

Aaron took out his baton. He twisted it and it came in two, a rope of its own keeping them together. He placed it over the longer rope and jumped, sliding down towards the adjacent building. He lifted his feet up, and they slammed against a large glass window, shattering it and allowing himself to swing in.

Link sat down on the roof of the building he waited on. He listened to the rain. Drip drip drip. Any alert would suffice. Link desperately missed the thrill of fighting crime, the exhilarating experience that he'd only felt one before. And then it hit him. A familiar ringing from his phone. Link answered, to hear his old pal Rick, who exclaimed about a break in with a rope. "Dumbass." Link leapt.

Aaron freed his baton and put it back together. He placed it inside his jacket and took out his tranq gun. It was dark, for now at least. He used the rooms to supports to hide himself as several people came up, armed with several weapons. He popped around the corner and fired four darts, dropping all of them.

The gang members would surround the dying pedestrian and aim there guns at his head and they would laugh

Aaron moved down the steps, he closed his eyes for a moment, clearing his mind as several people aimed their rifles at him. They fired, but every shot missed. To them he was a blur, but to him he moved at average speed. He saw every bullet wiz by in slow motion. He swapped his tranq for his sidearm and fired at them, putting one in each of their throats.
