    Well, his stat growths seem like they're designed for a swordmaster. And Nyx joins the chapter after him and is simply a better dark mage than him. It seemed to be the reasonable thing to do.

    With a forged Killing Edge with a name of 12+ characters, his critical rate is literally 50% against most enemies. It's pretty amazing, really.
