It's funny that people still think Zelda Wii U is coming out for the NX too. Zelda Wii U is a Wii U exclusive. People are too hung up on Twilight Princess on Gamecube and Wii. Just because they ported Twilight Princess to the Wii doesn't mean they will do the same with Zelda Wii U on NX and btw the Wii U doesn't even have it's own Zelda game. Only one spin off and two remasters.

    Well, IF the NX is launching this year, why wouldnt Nintendo want a great Zelda game at its launch? the game is pratically ready, launching it exclusively on Wii U, considering the console's userbase... i dunno. besides, they were certain that Zelda would launch in 2015, even though they knew this year would be the series anniversary. maybe they are porting it to NX lol

    It would be a surprise if the next Zelda game won't come for both consoles. If the game is as good as Nintendo says, why should they "waste" it on Wii U? I don't want to sound harsh but a Wii U exclusive release would be a economically mistake. Plus, a new Zelda game could boost NX very strong. Nintendo won't miss this opportunity.

    if the "smash on nx at launch" rumor is to be believed then it could be rereleased on nx at some point in the future, plus paper mario is coming later on too, which means wiiu still has a few good games coming soon.

    Well I mention this a couple times and this is not just me that pointed this out but the Wii U doesn't even have it's own Zelda game yet if they port Zelda Wii U to the NX it's not going have it's exclusive Zelda game. People are too hung up on the whole Twilight Princess on Gamecube and Wii.

    and no it doesn't matter which console it's on it's just it would be unfair to the Wii U to not get it's own Zelda game. It has two "remasters" and one spinoff.

    But them coming out with Paper Color Splash on Wii U proves that they are not giving up on the Wii U. NX is not coming out until end of 2017.

    Of course, the Wii U has no exclusive Zelda until now. On the other hand, the Virtual Boy had no exclusive Zelda, too ;) No, seriously, I doubt it will only come for Wii U. But we will see... maybe at E3, we will know.
