where do you start drawing?

i am wondering where people tend to start drawing, the head? the body? please tell me below!

    i usually start with the head... though now im studying human anatomy and drawing bodies now.

    A good way to start is skecthing out the general idea based on a reference picture [for proportions of course]

    then start to add in the basics that u want. u can erase what you dont like. on this stage try your best not to focous on one part of the body because then it might be proportioned wrong. try to make sure it looks correct before adding detail to get a better finish

    I typically start with the head, but draw a (very) basic sketch of the body. Which is probably why it takes me about an hour to even get the body right...

    i start with the body because the face is easy so started with the body and when u start to draw make sure u think before u draw it. it helps me by nice meeting yall follow me

    Thank you everyone for your comments! i will take them into mind next time i draw. as for my preference, i tend to start with the head and use that as the basis for proportions, but maybe i should change that.
