3 Characters people would be wrong about to say they won't be DLC because they're clones

3: Banjo and Kazooie (I don't know why I have to put these two here, people say "Oh, Banjo and Kazooie won't get in because of Duck Hunt! Let's vote for Spange Bab instead!") 2: Daisy (would be based on the Mario sports games) 1: Paper Mario/Paper Luigi (with jumps, hammers and items) What's your list?

  • Truth, now the real reasons Banjo won't be in Smash because Rare don't want their stuff back on Nintendo Daisy is not that popular no matter how much we her fans want her to be in the possibility is pretty low Paper Mario and Paper Luigi can be but I think can be better if they just add some of the moves from the Mario RPG's to Mario and Luigi set

  • A furry mammal with a bird on its back... yet that is not nearly enough to say they'd be... "clones" O.o So many of DH's moves involve Zapper shots, for one... Anyway, I saw a really great, very original Toon Zelda concept. Not a (semi-)clone like Toon Link. Paper Mario would also be very original despite being Mario.

  • It still baffles me that people think Banjo and Kazooie would be anything like Duck Hunt. Clearly they've never played the Banjo-Kazooie games.

  • I want completely original Toon reps like Tetra or more importantly Vaati, seeing as they're aren't toon versions of previous characters proves that Toonlink has unique characters from his own series. I also wanted a Riolu spin-off from the Mystery Dungeon series but apparently people believe wands, iron needles original pokemon moves and orbs amount to a Lucario clone

  • @Sammy, actually Rare loves Nintendo. They were their biggest influence on gaming. Sadly though, as they were losin money they hoped Nintendo would buy them out, instead Microsoft did.

@Joshua And Banjo-Tooie is almost every bit as amazing as the original.

  • ACTUALLY, it was agreed that Microsoft would let Banjo fight on Nintendo's platforms again. Rare has done many things for Nintendo that likely wouldn't make them "hate" the company.

  • I believe that B&K in Smash wasn't impossible. Getting Rare characters in Smash isn't impossible. It's more likely, I thnk, that Sakurai simply didn't want to add them; they're popular in Japan, but not as popular. Anyway, both the first game and Tooie are equally great games. So too is their own Donkey Kong 64. ^^
